Samuel Hutchison Beer (b. July 28, 1911, Bucyrus, Ohio-d. April 7, 2009, Washington, D.C.) was a military officer, historian, educator, and Massachusetts political figure. He was a captain in the Office of the U.S. Military Government of Germany (OMGUS) in 1945.
